Per formulation contains:
- Zinc Oxide 10 g – skin protectant; soothes irritation and prevents moisture-related skin damage
- Calamine 30 g – astringent and anti-itch agent; relieves itching and minor skin irritation
- Bentonite 6 g – clay; thickening and soothing agent
- Sodium Citrate 1 g – pH adjuster; stabilizes formulation
- Liquefied Phenol 1 ml – antiseptic and mild disinfectant
- Glycerine 10 ml – moisturizer; prevents dryness and softens skin
2. Uses / Indications 🩺
Kalamine Lotion is used for:
- Relief of itching and irritation from insect bites, rashes, or mild eczema
- Soothing sunburn or minor burns
- Mild antiseptic action to prevent infection in minor skin lesions
- Drying oozing skin lesions
- General skin protection in sensitive or inflamed skin
3. Direction of Use / Administration 📋
- Apply a thin layer to affected area 2–3 times daily
- Use externally only
- Avoid contact with eyes
- Wash hands after application if necessary
