Composition:
Each tablet contains:

·         Drospirenone 3 mg

·         Ethinyl estradiol 0.03 mg

Uses / Indication:

·         Oral contraception (prevention of pregnancy)

·         Regulation of menstrual cycle

·         May help reduce premenstrual symptoms (PMS)

·         May improve acne in some women

Directions of Use:

·         Take 1 tablet daily for 21 consecutive days, preferably at the same time each day.

·         Follow with a 7-day tablet-free interval, during which withdrawal bleeding occurs.

·         Start the next pack after the 7-day break even if bleeding has not stopped.

Side Effects:

·         Nausea

·         Headache

·         Breast tenderness

·         Mood changes

·         Irregular bleeding or spotting

·         Weight changes

·         Rare but serious: blood clots (thrombosis)

Warning / Interaction, Caution:

·         Not recommended for women with history of blood clots, stroke, severe liver disease, or breast cancer.

·         Smoking increases the risk of serious cardiovascular side effects, especially in women over 35 years.

·         Some medicines may reduce effectiveness (e.g., certain antibiotics, anticonvulsants, rifampicin, and herbal products like St John’s Wort).

·         Does not protect against sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

·         Take missed pills according to instructions to maintain contraceptive protection.
