Composition

Ibuprofen B.P 100mg/5ml

Uses/Indication

For the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain including migraine, headache, period pain and/or fever.

For the symptomatic treatment of pain and inflammation in arthritic diseases (e.g. rheumatoid arthritis), degenerative arthritic conditions (e.g. osteoarthritis) and in painful swelling and inflammation after soft tissues injuries.

Gastrointestinal bleeding/perforation

GI ulcers

Skin rash

Asthma exacerbation

Direction for use:

Based on weight: 5–10 mg/kg every 6–8 hours

Maximum: 40 mg/kg/day

Warning/Interaction

High doses should be used with caution.

Use should be avoided in patients with established ischaemic heart disease, peripheral arterial disease, cerebrovascular disease, congestive heart failure (New York Heart Association classification II-III), and uncontrolled hypertension.

 Avoid in patients with NSAID-sensitive asthma.
