Paracetamol B.P 500mg, (blister)

Uses/Indication

Paracetamol is a widely used medicine for relieving mild to moderate pain and reducing fever. It is effective in conditions such as headache, toothache, menstrual pain, muscle aches, back pain, fever from infections, and common cold symptoms. It works by blocking the chemical messengers in the brain that signal pain and heat.

Directions for Use

• Adults and children over 12 years: 1–2 tablets every 4–6 hours as needed

• Maximum dose: 8 tablets (4,000 mg) in 24 hours

• Children (6–12 years): ½–1 tablet every 4–6 hours (maximum 4 doses daily)

• Swallow whole with water. Can be taken with or without food
  Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Side Effects

• Generally well tolerated when used correctly

• Rare side effects may include: nausea, skin rash, allergic reactions

• Overdose can cause serious liver damage — seek emergency care immediately if overdose is suspected

Warnings & Cautions

• Do not use with other products containing paracetamol

• Avoid alcohol while taking paracetamol to reduce liver risk

• Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney disease

• Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a healthcare professional before use

• Keep out of reach of children
