1. Composition / Active Ingredients 

Each 5 ml contains:

Acetaminophen (Paracetamol) USP 120 mg – analgesic and antipyretic; relieves pain and reduces fever in infants and toddlers

Glycerine – sweetening and soothing agent; helps make the syrup palatable and soothes irritated oral mucosa

2. Uses / Indications 

ECL Teething Mixture is used for:

Pain relief associated with teething in infants and toddlers

Mild fever related to teething

Soothing oral discomfort during teething

It relieves pain, reduces mild fever, and soothes the mouth.

3. Direction of Use / Administration 

Typical dosage (unless directed by a paediatrician):

Infants 3 months to 1 year: 2.5 to 5ml 4 times daily

Children 1–6 years: 5ml–10 ml 4 times daily as needed

Instructions:

Use oral syringe or measuring cup for accuracy

Can be taken with or without food

Do not exceed the recommended dose

4. Side Effects ⚠️

Paracetamol is generally well-tolerated. Possible side effects:

Allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling; rare)

Nausea or vomiting

Liver toxicity if overdose occurs

Glycerine is generally safe but may cause mild gastrointestinal discomfort if used excessively.

Warnings

Do not exceed the recommended dose

Avoid giving other paracetamol-containing products simultaneously

Cautions

Use cautiously in infants with liver disease or malnutrition
