Composition

Uses / Indications

• Treatment and prevention of iron‑deficiency anaemia
• To restore normal hemoglobin and iron stores
• Management of fatigue, weakness, and low iron levels due to poor diet, blood loss, or pregnancy

Directions for Use

• Usually taken 1 tablet once or twice daily, or as prescribed by a doctor
• Take after meals to reduce stomach irritation
• Swallow with water; do not crush or chew
• Dose and duration depend on the severity of deficiency

Side Effects

• Gastrointestinal upset: nausea, vomiting, stomach pain
• Constipation or diarrhea
• Dark or black stools (common with iron)
• Rare allergic reactions

Warnings / Interactions / Cautions

Do not exceed the recommended dose, especially in children (iron overdose can be life-threatening)
• Caution in patients with hemochromatosis, peptic ulcers, or gastrointestinal disorders
• May interact with antacids, tetracycline and quinolone antibiotics, calcium supplements, and certain foods that reduce absorption
