1. Composition
Each tablet typically contains a triple-action combination of active ingredients:
- Paracetamol (Acetaminophen): 500 mg (Analgesic and antipyretic)
- Ibuprofen: 400 mg (Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug - NSAID)
- Caffeine: 30 mg (Analgesic adjuvant to enhance pain relief)
2. Uses/Indication
Gebedol Extra is used for the fast relief of mild to moderate pain and inflammation, including:
- Headaches and migraines.
- Muscle aches and backaches.
- Dental pain (toothache).
- Menstrual cramps (dysmenorrhea).
- Fever reduction and symptoms of the common cold or flu.
3. Direction of Use
- Dosage: Usually 1 tablet every 4 to 6 hours as needed.
- Maximum Dose: Do not exceed 6 tablets in a 24-hour period (to avoid paracetamol toxicity and NSAID-related stomach issues).
- Administration: It is highly recommended to take these tablets after meals or with a glass of milk to protect the stomach lining from the ibuprofen component.
4. Side Effects
- Common: Heartburn, indigestion, nausea, dizziness, or nervousness/insomnia (due to caffeine).
