Product Details – Gebedol Forte

1. Composition

Each tablet contains:

 • Diclofenac Sodium USP – 50 mg

 • Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) USP – 500 mg

 • Chlorzoxazone USP – 250 mg

 • Excipients – q.s.  

2. Uses / Indications

Gebedol Forte is used for the relief of pain, inflammation, and muscle spasm. It is indicated for:

 • Skeletal muscle spasm associated with trauma (sprains, strains, fractures)

 • Acute painful arthritic conditions

 • Post-operative pain and inflammation

 • Dental inflammatory conditions

 • Pelvic inflammatory conditions

 • Short-term treatment of rheumatic and musculoskeletal disorders

 • Relief of joint pain, muscle pain, and osteoarthritis symptoms  

3. Direction for Use

 • Adults: 1 tablet 2–3 times daily or as directed by a physician.

 • Route of administration: Oral.  

4. Side Effects

Possible side effects may include:

 • Nausea

 • Vomiting

 • Abdominal pain or stomach discomfort

 • Dizziness

 • Drowsiness

 • Headache

 • Gastrointestinal irritation or ulcer (rare but serious)  

5. Warnings / Interactions / Caution

Warnings

 • Contraindicated in patients with peptic ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, or hypersensitivity to any ingredient.

 • Avoid in patients with aspirin-induced asthma.  

Drug Interactions

May interact with:

 • Aspirin

 • Digoxin

 • Methotrexate

 • Cyclosporine

 • Lithium  

Caution

• Use cautiously in patients with liver disease, kidney disease, asthma, or bleeding disorders.

 • Use in pregnancy or breastfeeding only if prescribed by a doctor.

 • Avoid alcohol due to risk of liver toxicity.
