Composition

Nexcofer Syrup is a haematinic (iron supplement) liquid formulation. Typical ingredients include:
• Ferrous Sulfate or Ferric Ammonium Citrate (iron source)
• Folic Acid
• Vitamin B12

Uses / Indications

• Treatment and prevention of iron-deficiency anaemia
• To correct low hemoglobin levels
• Managing fatigue, weakness, and poor appetite due to iron deficiency
• Suitable for children and adults who cannot swallow capsules or tablets

Directions for Use

• Usually 5–10 ml once or twice daily after meals, or as prescribed by a doctor.
• Shake the bottle well before use.
• Use the provided measuring cup or spoon for accurate dosing.
• Can be taken with a small amount of fruit juice to improve iron absorption.

Side Effects

• Nausea, vomiting, or stomach upset
• Constipation or diarrhea
• Dark-colored stools (common with iron supplementation)
• Occasionally, metallic taste or mild abdominal cramps
