Composition 

• Ambroxol Hydrochloride – Mucolytic that breaks down thick mucus and facilitates its removal from the respiratory tract. 

• Guaifenesin – Expectorant that helps loosen and thin bronchial secretions, making cough more productive. 

• Racementhol – Provides a cooling and soothing effect on the throat and helps relieve irritation. 

Uses/Indication 

• Productive cough (cough with mucus) 

• Chest congestion 

• Bronchitis 

• Upper respiratory tract infections associated with thick mucus 

Direction of Use 

• Adults: Usually 10 ml, 2–3 times daily or as directed by a healthcare professional. 

• Children: 5 ml, 2–3 times daily depending on age and physician’s advice. 

• Shake well before use. 

• Measure with a dosing cup or spoon. 

• Preferably taken after meals. 

Side Effects 

• Nausea 

• Vomiting 

• Stomach discomfort 

• Dizziness 

• Allergic reactions such as rash (rare) 

Warning/Interactions, Caution 

• Use with caution in patients with peptic ulcer disease. 

• Avoid if allergic to ambroxol, guaifenesin, or menthol. 

• Consult a doctor before use in pregnancy or breastfeeding. 

• Do not combine with cough suppressants unless prescribed, as this may reduce mucus clearance.
