Composition:
Each 10ml contains:

• Aluminium Hydroxide Gel 291mg

• Magnesium Hydroxide 98mg

• Simethicone 25mg

Uses / Indication:

• Relief of heartburn and acid indigestion

• Treatment of gastric hyperacidity

• Management of peptic ulcer and gastritis

• Relief of bloating and gas-related discomfort (flatulence)

Direction of Use:

• Adults: 10–20ml taken 1 hour after meals and at bedtime, or as directed by a physician

• Children (6–12 years): 5–10ml after meals and at bedtime, if recommended by a physician

• Shake well before use

• Use a proper measuring cup or spoon

• Do not take more than 80ml in 24 hours unless directed by a healthcare professional

Side Effects:

• Constipation (due to aluminium hydroxide)

• Diarrhea (due to magnesium hydroxide)

• Nausea or chalky taste

• Rare: phosphate depletion with prolonged use

Warnings:

• Use with caution in patients with kidney impairment or on a low-phosphate diet

• Not intended for prolonged use unless advised by a doctor

Interactions:

• May reduce the absorption of certain medications such as tetracyclines, fluoroquinolones, iron, and digoxin

• Allow at least 2 hours between taking Nugel and other oral medications

Caution:

• Do not exceed the recommended dose

• If symptoms persist for more than 2 weeks, consult a physician

• Safe use in pregnancy and lactation should be under medical supervision
