Composition:
Cetirizine Hydrochloride 10mg

Uses / Indication:

• Relief of allergic rhinitis symptoms (e.g., sneezing, runny nose, itchy/watery eyes)

• Treatment of chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives)

• Management of other allergic conditions such as hay fever and skin allergies

Direction of Use:

• Adults and children over 12 years: One 10mg tablet once daily

• Children 6–12 years: 5mg twice daily or as directed by a physician

• Swallow tablet whole with water; can be taken with or without food

• Do not exceed the recommended dose

Side Effects:

• Drowsiness (less common compared to older antihistamines)

• Headache

• Dry mouth

• Fatigue

• Dizziness

• Rare: allergic reactions, including rash or swelling

Warnings:

• Use with caution in patients with renal impairment (dose adjustment may be necessary)

Interactions:

• May enhance CNS depressant effects of alcohol and sedatives

• Use caution with other antihistamines or CNS depressants

• Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before use
