Composition:
Promethazine Teoclate B.P. 25mg
Uses/Indication:
Treatment of nausea and vomiting (including motion sickness)
Relief of allergic conditions such as hay fever, rhinitis, and urticaria (hives)
Short-term treatment of insomnia due to its sedative effects
As an adjunctive treatment for anxiety
Used in preoperative sedation
Direction of Use:
Adults: 25mg to 50mg at bedtime or as directed by a healthcare professional
Children (6–12 years): 12.5mg to 25mg at bedtime
Swallow tablets whole with water, can be taken with or without food
For motion sickness, take 30–60 minutes before travel
Side Effects:
Drowsiness or sedation
Dry mouth
Dizziness or lightheadedness
Constipation
Blurred vision
Rare: allergic reactions, skin rash, and hypotension
