Composition:
Amlodipine Besylate 10mg

Uses/Indication:

• Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure)

• Management of angina pectoris (chest pain)

• Used to improve blood flow and reduce the risk of heart-related complications

Direction of Use:

• Take one 10mg tablet once daily, with or without food

• Dosage may be adjusted based on patient response and physician’s recommendation

• Continue treatment as prescribed even if symptoms improve

Side Effects:

• Swelling of ankles or feet (edema)

• Dizziness or lightheadedness

• Flushing

• Fatigue

• Palpitations or rapid heartbeat

• Rare: nausea, abdominal pain

Warnings/Interactions:

• Warnings: Use caution in patients with severe hypotension or heart failure

• Interactions: May interact with other antihypertensive agents, CYP3A4 inhibitors, and grapefruit juice (which can increase drug levels)

• Caution: Avoid sudden discontinuation; may cause rebound hypertension. Use with caution in patients with liver impairment.
