Product Composition

Each tablet contains Lisinopril dihydrate 10 mg as the active ingredient.

Uses / Indications
Teva Lisinopril 10 mg is used for the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension), heart failure, and to improve survival after a heart attack (myocardial infarction). It belongs to the class of angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors, which help relax blood vessels and lower blood pressure.

Direction for Use
Take one tablet once daily or as prescribed by a healthcare professional. Swallow the tablet with a glass of water. It may be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time each day.

Side Effects
Common side effects may include dry cough, dizziness, headache, fatigue, nausea, or diarrhea. Less common but serious side effects may include low blood pressure, high potassium levels, kidney problems, or severe allergic reactions such as swelling of the face, lips, or throat (angioedema). Seek medical attention if serious symptoms occur.

Warnings / Interactions
This medicine may interact with potassium supplements, potassium-sparing diuretics, other blood pressure medicines, NSAIDs, and lithium. Inform your healthcare professional if you have kidney disease, liver disease, diabetes, or a history of angioedema before using this medicine.

Caution
Do not use during pregnancy, as it may harm the unborn baby. Use with caution during breastfeeding and in elderly patients. Regular monitoring of blood pressure, kidney function, and potassium levels may be required during treatment.
